STERILIZING DEVICE AND AIR CONDITIONER

A disinfecting device and an air conditioner are provided to effectively inactivate microbes, such as virus, without influence of installed location of a humidifier or the air conditioner and operating seasons. A disinfecting device comprises a humidifying unit(5) humidifying passing air; a humidifying water supplying unit(23) supplying humidifying water containing superoxide anion obtained by electrolyzing service water to the humidifying unit; and a concentration adjusting unit(22) regulating predetermined concentration of the superoxide anion in the humidifying water. The humidifying water supplying unit has at least a pair of electrodes installed to produce humidifying water. The concentration adjusting unit regulates predetermined concentration of the superoxide anion in the humidifying water by changing the amount of service water passing between the electrodes.
