A device for removing a coating film of a low-E glass is provided to secure good sound-proof and heat insulation effects of a pair of glass by adhering a spacer bar and the low-E glass after removing the coating film formed at the edge of the low-E glass. The device for removing a coating film of a low-E glass(11) is composed of a moving plate(15) installed at a body(13) and vertically inclined to support the low-E glass having a coated surface on the front side to obliquely transfer the low-E glass in a horizontal direction; a head(12) installed at a supporter mounted on the front side of the moving plate to move up and down and equipped with a grindstone rotated to remove the coated surface of the low-E glass; a tilting unit installing the head movably for a lift body(30) to turn the grindstone about the low-E glass; a fixing unit fixing the head with regulating a gap between the head and the low-E glass placed on the moving plate correspondently to the thickness of the low-E glass; and a control unit(10) to which data about the width of the coated surface required according to the thickness of the low-E glass is input in advance, controlling the fixing unit and the head to polish the coated surface of the low-E glass correspondently to the machining width of the coated surface chosen by a user.
