IMAGE SUMMARY GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image summary generator by which viewing time is shortened while presenting image contents with respect to editing of image contents.

SOLUTION: The image summary generator is provided with: an image content input part which inputs image contents; an image content holding part which holds the image contents inputted by the image content input part; an object determination part which determines an object from frame images in the image contents held by the image content holding part; an object's movement detection and determination part which detects movements of the object which is determined by the object determination part from images of consecutive frames in the image contents and determines them as a series of movements; a part for specifying series of movements which specifies consecutive frames corresponding to the series of movements determined by the object's movement detection and determination part; and a content editing part which deletes at least a part of frames from the consecutive frames specified by the part for specifying series of movements.
