<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of enhancing the usability by eliminating necessity for operation using a mechanical key etc. and of avoiding unnecessary steering lock owing to wrong operation of the driver or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The steering lock device is equipped with a determining means to determine whether the ID code received by a receiving means is a regular one, an operating means 10 to lock the steering when it is pressed, and an electrically driven releasing means to release the steering lock by putting the operating member 10 in the retracted condition into the protruding condition, whereby the operating condition is selected according to the rotating angle of a cam member 15 among three, the released condition in which the operating member 10 in the retracted condition is put into the protruding condition to release the steering lock, the admitting condition in which pressing the operating member 10 to turn from the protruding condition into the retracted condition, and the restricted condition in which putting the operating member 10 in the protruding condition into the retracted condition is restricted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
