<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a processed squid product capable of presenting softness and deliciousness and interesting appearance even in shape through using twisted squid meat. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the processed squid product comprises providing a plurality of linear cuts 6 which are inclined at an angle θ of 45°±15° to the squid body length direction P, on the front face 5 of an opened body 4 obtained by cutting open the body 1 of squid, providing cuts 8 on the rear surface 7 of the opened body 4, which are inclined at an angle θ of 45°±15° to the squid body length direction P and cross the cuts 6 on the front surface 5 to each other viewed from the side of the rear surface 7, setting a plurality of cuts 6 and 8 each in parallel on the front surface 5 and the rear surface 7 of the opened body 4, and cutting the opened body 4 along a direction Q which crosses the squid body length direction P nearly at right angles into a thin strip shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
