<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval device capable of extremely easily performing retrieval of an object using an IC tag, and a retrieval system including the retrieval device. <P>SOLUTION: A PDA 10 as the retrieval device comprises an IC tag detection part 4 detecting the presence of the IC tag 82 storing article information related to an article (book 81) and acquiring article information stored in the IC tag 82; and a retrieval rule management table 5a for storing one or more retrieval rules based on the article information stored in the IC tag 82. A control part 1 selects one retrieval rule from the table 5a, determines whether the article information acquired by the IC tag detection part 4 satisfies the selected retrieval rule or not, and reports the determination result to a user by displaying it on a display part 6 or outputting voice from a voice output part 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
