<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for supplying components having high reliability and capability of relatively easily supplying components to a pickup position. <P>SOLUTION: The method of supplying components is a method of supplying components 4 to a pickup position 3 located near a stop point 2 using a device for supplying components, wherein the device for supplying components has a guide 1 provided with the stop point 3, at least one gas intake 6 connected with the guide 1, and at least one exhaust outlet 7 connected with the guide 1. A component 4 is conveyed in a direction of conveyance toward the stop point 2 through the guide 1 using air supplied via the gas intake 6. As soon as a plurality of components 4 is conveyed in the direction of conveyance, the exhaust outlet or outlets 7 are closed by at least one component 4 lined in a train, and at least one component 4 that follows in a succeeding train is conveyed in the direction opposite to the direction of conveyance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
