<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a telemeter system that can secure communication environment between main devices and a sub device by easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: The sub device 17 receives information indicating the last two digits of the serial number of the main device 16 from a setting apparatus (step S1), and simultaneously transmits the information to the main devices by radio (step S2). The main devices 16 receiving the information continuously transmits radio wave for measuring radio wave intensity for a certain period (step S4).
