<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sales management system and method for enabling a customer to take merchandise out of a rack, and to put it in a bag, and to complete settlement as it is, and for preventing any illegal act. <P>SOLUTION: This merchandise sales management system is provided with a merchandise taking-in and out detection means 60 mounted on a merchandise display rack 6 for displaying each merchandise to be sold for reading information written in an electronic tag with a communication function by communicating with the electronic tag, a customer identification electronic tag 8 mounted on each customer C in which customer identification information for identifying each customer C is written, a merchandise identification electronic tag 7 attached to each merchandise G in which merchandise identification information for identifying each merchandise G is written and a management device for, when each merchandise G is taken out of the merchandise display rack 6, associating the customer identification information of the customer C who has taken each merchandise G read by the merchandise taking-in and out detection means 60 with the merchandise identification information of each merchandise G taken out of the merchandise display rack 6, and for recording it as the merchandise purchase information of each customer C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
