PRISM SHEET AND BACKLIGHT UNIT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prism sheet that can enhance the efficiency of light supplied to a LCD panel and to provide a backlight unit using the sheet.

SOLUTION: The prism sheet 400 includes a base film 408 and a plurality of linearly aligned prisms 404. The prisms 404 are formed on one side of the base film 408, and one side of prism faces (refractive faces) of each prism 404 is formed perpendicular to the base film 400.
