PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless access point for carrying out power-saving control due to movement of wireless clients. SOLUTION: The wireless access point connected to wireless clients to configure a wireless LAN system is characterized by including: an ordinary mode switching means that switches a wireless output in a power-saving mode into a wireless output in an ordinary mode when receiving a client connection notice indicating connection of communication with the wireless client from the wireless access point registered in advance; and a power-save mode switching means that switches a wireless output in the ordinary mode into a wireless output in the power-save mode when receiving a client interruption notice denoting interruption of communication with the wireless client from the wireless access point registered in advance and receiving a client connection notice from the wireless access point not registered.
