PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a charging quantity display device and a charging quantity display method with a charging quantity in a manner as displayed by a display means when a storage battery is charged with a charger. SOLUTION: This charging quantity display device comprises a display part 21 for displaying a charging quantity, a video camera apparatus A for actuating a control objective part to be based on the charging quantity, the storage battery B for supplying voltage stored relating to the video camera apparatus A, and the charger C for charging the storage battery B. The charging quantity is constituted such that it is displayed by the display part 21 when the storage battery B is charged with the charger C, consequently the storage battery during being charged, in a condition installing it in the device, can be known by a display in a side of the device.
