PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the concentration of stress caused by press fitting a stator core into a case and thus friction torque when a motor is assembled. SOLUTION: The stator core 5 is constructed of a first part 5A and a second part 5B so fixed that it overlaps both the ends of the first part 5A in the axial direction. The first part 5A is formed by laminating core plates having an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the case 4. The core plates constructing the second part 5B are formed by extending protruded pieces from a base portion having the same outside diameter as the core plates outward in the circumferential direction and at equal intervals in the circumferential direction.
