PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a communication area wherein a target value of throughput of communication performed by a mobile station can be achieved, by increasing an opportunity of communication given from a base station to the mobile station, and increasing the throughput of the communication performed by the mobile station in the end of the communication area. SOLUTION: A control unit 38 of a mobile station 3 selects a communication area wherein the mobile station 3 performs communication, out of communication areas based on traffic in a plurality of communication areas. A wireless unit 32 of the mobile station 3 multiplexes a control signal including the communication area, in which the mobile station 3 performs communication, selected by the control unit 38 on an uplink channel and transmits it to base stations 2a-2c.
