PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine that can reduce stress generated at a stator core by a magnetic force at the rotation of the rotary electric machine, has no need to be increased in size for coping with the stress, and thus can be further reduced in size. SOLUTION: The stator of the rotary electric machine positions and arranges teeth by fixing a yoke that is arranged so as to cover lower parts of a plurality of the teeth erected annularly stator core to a case. Abutting faces between the teeth 11 and the yoke 13 are formed of inclined faces 11b, 13b having tapers in protruding directions of the teeth. The abutting faces have upper vertical faces 21a, 23a and lower vertical faces 21c, 23c that are parallel with the protruding directions of the teeth. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
