PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of recognizing contents of a digital broadcast even if a display picture can not be visually recognized. SOLUTION: When it is detected that a casing is closed, in accordance with the detection, a control section 11 switches main audio reproducing ordinary audio signals to sub audio reproducing audio signals for interpretations.
