PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten a burden of a CPU by constituting processing for displaying a video image read from a memory to a window of the optional shape with hardware. SOLUTION: A display pixel position detection part 1 detects whether or not pixels of the video image displayed on a display device 12 is present in the respective rectangle areas set according to a plurality of window patterns WP (pattern) ("1" at the time of presence). An AND gate part 4 individually outputs AND between each output of the display pixel position detection part 1 and data (binary) of the plurality of patterns read from a window pattern memory 2. A read window number determination part 6 determines a window number provided to a pattern whose AND output is "1" according to priority of patterns. An address selector 8 selects one of a plurality of reading addresses corresponding to the respective window numbers generated by a reading address generation part 7 in order to read the video image from a video memory 9 by the window numbers.
