PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cutoff structure for an entrance which positively achieves water cutoff even if a cavity is large or high water pressure is applied thereto. SOLUTION: The water cutoff structure for an entrance cuts off intrusion of water inside of the entrance 2b by a water cut-off section 10 provided for blocking the gap the gap occurring between a shield machine 4 or a lining section 5 and a the periphery of the entrance 2a. The water cutoff section 10 has a wire brush 11 and elastic plates 12A, 12B arranged along the wire brush in a manner deflecting in the inside and outside directions of the entrance.
