PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attractive wood-made-like route sign without impairing natural scenery by utilizing a conventional route sign. SOLUTION: This route sign 30 with a receiving plate is formed by combining a sign 10 having an indication base plate and fixing ribs 14a and 14b for fixing the indication base plate 11 on struts with the wooden receiving plate 20 formed larger than the sign. The fixing ribs 14a and 14b comprise a support arm part 16 extending from the rear surface of the indication base plate 11 and a rail part 15 formed at the extension end of he support arm part so as to be bent in L-shape relative to the extending direction of the support arm part and to be parallel with the indication base plate. The sign 10 is locked to the receiving plate 20 by inserting the fixing ribs 14a and 14b into insertion holes 26a and 26b passed through the receiving plate 20 in the thickness direction and interposing insertion plates 28a and 28b in spaces formed between the rear surface of the receiving plate 20 and the rail part extending from the rear surface.
