MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF PHOSPHOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process by which a group III nitride phosphor having a high light emission efficiency and an excellent reliability is manufactured by controlling the composition and size of the phosphor particle with a simple manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process relates to a group III nitride phosphor having a double layered structure in which a phosphorescent core is covered by a shell. The process includes a step to manufacture the precursor for the core covered by a surfactant, a step to mix the core precursor with the shell precursor in a solution and a step to grow the shell over the core by heating the mixture of the core precursor and the shell precursor.
