PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanket for printing which can decrease generation of shock spots and can decrease parts which can not be printed. SOLUTION: The blanket 10 for printing comprises a substrate 13 consisting of a metal plate with a thin thickness fixed on the undersurface of a flat plate-like rubber layer 11. Sectional anglesθof both edge parts 15 on a holding side and a holding tail side of the rubber layer 11 are obliquely formed by projecting the surface sides, and both end parts of the substrate 13 are exposed from the rubber layer 11 and they are formed as inserting pieces to be inserted into a slit of the blanket cylinder. The sectional anglesθof the edge parts 15 of the rubber layer 11 are formed to be 93-120°on the rubber layer side, preferably 95-115°. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
