The display has glass carrier plates deformed by pulling and arranged one above the other. Transparent ITO electrodes (3) are placed in the inner sides of the carrier plates, and a liquid crystal substance is arranged between the carrier plates, where one of carrier plates consists of diachronic glass. Liquid crystal molecules (4) are aligned in a pulling direction of the glasses in a fieldless condition, where the orientation of the molecules is reversed with applied electrical field.
