PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporation material and evaporation method to perform the evaporation of an agent in extremely high efficiency in the control of flying vermin such as mosquito and provide an agent for suppressing the action of a blood-sucking vermin before the sucking motion to lower the normal behavior of the vermin before sucking and an evaporation method. SOLUTION: A specific pyrethroidal compound is supported on a carrier having thin thickness in a manner to prevent the closure of the spontaneously evaporated compound in the carrier, and the compound is spontaneously evaporated from the carrier. A specific pyrethroidal compound is supported on a sheet carrier having a structure to prevent the closure of the evaporated compound, and the carrier is placed in a windy atmosphere to evaporate the compound from the carrier. The invention further provides an agent for suppressing the action of a blood-sucking vermin before blood-sucking motion, and containing an evaporating compound effective for lowering the normal behavior of the blood-sucking vermin before sucking motion and a method for evaporating the compound.
