<p>The patient fixing arrangement is assembled of a wide waist belt, two wide thigh surrounding bands, four straps connecting the two units and several straps for joining the arrangement to the bed. The safety element (100) is made of a rectangular sheet of strong fabric folded over towards the center along both sides with the edges overlapping (21). A hollow space is formed in the central area (10) and the lateral segments (11) are provided with several rows of stitches (13) for reinforcement.
