A liquid jetting device particularly using a meniscus forming means and electrostatic attraction force. In the device, electrical charges on a nozzle plate are reliably discharged to remove liquid and dir on a jetting surface, and thereby liquid can be appropriately jetted. An electric charge removal device (7) for discharging a charged nozzle plate of a liquid jetting head (6) and a cleaning device (8) for cleaning the nozzle plate are arranged at a maintenance position on one end side in a main scan direction X of an facing electrode (3). The liquid jetting head (6) is constructed so that, in maintenance, it moves in the main scan direction X, along a guide rail (4), to be positioned above the electric charge removal device (7) and the cleaning device (8).
