<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus providing an image having an improved S/N ratio regardless of the presence/absence of object's motion and the presence/absence of periodicity of the motion. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises a first image generating section 18 for generating an image using a reflected signal from a moving subject, a displacement detecting section 20 for detecting motions between time-series images, a displacement correcting section 20 for generating a displacement corrected reception signal subjected to displacement correction on the basis of the detected motion, a signal summing section 22 for carrying out weighted summation of a plurality of displacement corrected reception signals, and a second image generating section 24 for converting the summed reception signals to a display image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
