<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless access system for improving a transmission efficiency, even when the number of multiplexed signals is changed, when applying frequency multiplexing to a wireless modulation signal and transmitting the multiplexed signal. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless access system is provided with a center station including a modulation section for converting input information into a wireless modulation signal; a frequency multiplex section for applying frequency multiplexing to a plurality of wireless modulation signals; a first optical transmission section for converting the signal output from the wireless modulation section into an optical signal and transmitting the optical signal to an optical transmission line; a first optical reception section for converting the optical signal output from an antenna station into an electrical signal; and a demodulation section for demodulating the electrical signal output from the first optical transmission section to obtain information, and with the antenna station that includes: a second optical reception section for converting the optical signal received from the optical transmission line into a wireless signal and transmitting the wireless signal to an antenna; and a second optical transmission section for converting the wireless signal received by the antenna into an optical signal and transmitting the optical signal to an optical transmission line, and the wireless access system has a function of regulating a communication available range by the antenna station, depending on the number of multiplexed signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
