<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for ultrasonic motor adapted to reduce an electric power loss of a circuit, and to supply an optimum electric power for an ultrasonic motor. <P>SOLUTION: In a driving device for ultrasonic motor for driving an ultrasonic motor 1, a driving voltage is supplied from a secondary winding of a transformer 11 to a piezoelectric element 1a by turning a primary winding of the transformer 11 on/off with a MOSFET 12. At this moment, a MOSFET 13 is also provided on the secondary winding of the transformer 11, and after a predetermined time has elapsed since the MOSFET 12 at primary side was turned off, the MOSFET 12 at primary side is turned on, and the MOSFET 13 at the secondary side is turned off to suppress a free vibration occurring at secondary side of the transformer 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
