<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microlens substrate capable of cutting a DC component which is an offset parts and preventing contamination of a liquid crystal layer by elution of impurity such as metal in a microlens formation layer in liquid crystal by providing a barrier layer with DC cut function and a liquid crystal display device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The microlens substrate is equipped with structure 6 constituted by joining a cover glass substrate 4 on which the microlens 3 is formed by an adhesive material 5 on a base glass substrate 2, a transparent electrode film 8 formed on the cover glass substrate 4, a transparent film 9 formed on the transparent electrode film 8 and an orientation film 10 formed on the transparent film 9. By forming the films in such an order on the structure 6, the transparent film 9 has a function for preventing elusion of the impurity contained in the cover glass substrate 4 and the DC cut function for preventing burn-in generated by voltage difference with a TFT substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
