PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a plant modified to induce dedifferentiation (callus formation).

SOLUTION: A plant modified to induce dedifferentiation is produced by introducing a recombinant expression vector containing a gene encoding a transcription factor controlled in a DST-dependent mRNA degradation pathway and participating in dedifferentiation into a plant cell and producing the transcription factor in the plant cell.
