<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire and manage management information of each user even if one interface is shared by a plurality of users. <P>SOLUTION: The network management system is provided with a managed apparatus connected to a network and a network management server which is connected to the network and acquires the management information from the managed apparatus by using an SNMP(simple network management protocol) to manage the managed apparatus from the management information. The managed apparatus is provided with an extension MIB(management information base), and adopts a means for acquiring the management information regarding user terminals connected to a lower side of the managed apparatus to store it in the extension MIB for each IP address of the user terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
