LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making a liquid crystal display to prevent a color filter substrate separating from a thin-film transistor substrate using fewer masks and the liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: The method comprises: forming a thin film transistor having a drain electrode on a substrate raw material; forming an inorganic film and an organic insulating film sequentially on the thin film transistor; forming an organic insulating film pattern by patterning the organic insulating film which comprises a first organic film hole to expose the inorganic film on the drain electrode and a second organic film hole formed along a circumference of the display region where the organic insulating film is partially removed; removing the inorganic film exposed through the first organic film hole and the organic insulating film remaining in the second organic film hole; and forming a sealant in the second organic film hole.
