PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "navigation apparatus", capable of releasing a user from troublesomeness by preventing an unnecessary route guidance from being performed, reducing the load of operation on the user by reducing complicated operations, and removing the monitoring load charged on the user until the starting of greeting action. SOLUTION: Only when a vehicle arrives at a previously set transportation point at or near a previously set arrival time of the sending action, the function of monitoring the departure time for the greeting action is automatically started.
