PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route search device for presuming a route in consideration of traffic jam on conditions desired by a user. SOLUTION: In this route search device, a traffic situation information acquiring part 2 acquires traffic situation information including at least the degree of traffic jam and surrounding environment data during traffic jam for each of road sections. A control part 3 performs statistical processing on a plurality of pieces of traffic situation information acquired by the acquiring part 2 to prepare a jam database with the degree of traffic jam described therein for each piece of the environment data in the respective road sections. An input device 4 is operated by the user in order to therethrough input the desired conditions. The control part 3 further searches for a recommended route from the place of departure of the user to a destination by using at least weather inputted through the input device 4 and the degree of traffic jam described in the prepared jam database.
