PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recorder which can discharge air bubbles without wasting ink. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder is equipped with a negative pressure granting means 21 which forms a meniscus in a nozzle hole 4 by balancing with a negative pressure given to an ink chamber 8 via a throttle 14. At the same time, a pressurizing means 26 is equipped for supplying pressurized ink to the ink chamber 8. Moreover, a retreating controlling means and a recovery controlling means are equipped. The retreating controlling means controls a piezoelectric element 10 to retreat the meniscus to be imbalanced with the negative pressure by deformation of the piezoelectric element 10. After retreating the ink in the ink chamber 8 to the throttle 14 by the negative pressure granting means 21, the recovery controlling means controls the pressurizing means 26 and feeds the ink to the ink chamber 8, thereby making the meniscus re-formed. The pressurizing means 26 feeds the ink to the ink chamber 8 by pressurizing the ink to a pressure not to break the meniscus. The retreating controlling means retreats the meniscus by repeatedly gradually returning the deformation after suddenly deforming the piezoelectric element 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
