PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article mounting bracket eliminating a gap between a front face of a nut member and a rear face of a front face wall of a nut attachment groove, and providing easy fastening of the bolt to the nut member without inhibiting smooth sliding of the nut member in the nut attachment groove. SOLUTION: The article mounting bracket is comprised of a fixed part 2 fixed to a wall surface or the like, a mounting part 3 provided on a lower edge of the fixing part 2, and the nut attachment groove 4 formed on the mounting part 3 in its length direction. A lower part groove wall 12 of the nut attachment groove 4 is formed with an angle of inclination slanting downward from a fixing part 2 side toward a protruding direction of the mounting part 3, and an angle of inclination matching with the lower part groove wall 12 is applied to a bottom face of the nut member 7. When the nut member 7 is inserted into the nut attachment groove 4, the nut member 7 moves along the lower part groove wall 12 of the nut attachment groove 4 by gravity, a thread face part 14 of the nut member 7 contacts a groove bottom wall 9 of the nut attachment groove 4, and a state is provided without a gap between the thread face part 14 of the nut member 7 and the groove bottom wall 9 of the nut attachment groove 4.
