PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on conventional construction that a valve element has delicate opening/closing operation because of the influences of a float whose position is changed by wave motion particularly during full closing, making it impossible to control it accurately. SOLUTION: This float type water level adjusting valve comprises a float provided on the lower side of a supporting rod passing therethrough for following a change of a water level, an anti-come-off member provided on the upper and lower sides of the float, a lever pivotally supported at its base end on the upper end position of the supporting rod, and a valve element provided at the front end of the lever so as to be moved up and down or rotated in a valve box for opening/closing a flow path in the valve box. At least the lower side of the anti-come-off member has a play space from the float. A screw is engraved in the lower side of the supporting rod, and the anti-come-off member is a nut to be threaded to the screw. So, a play space distance is adjustable. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
