PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the end shape of an outer ring member in which a fixed part of a boot can be securely positioned for a boot setting part of the outer ring member in fastening a boot band. SOLUTION: In the uniform joint, a predetermined disance L separated from an end face of the outer ring member to the top of an inclined surface along the horizontal direction, and an inclination angleθfor the inclined surface for the surface to be installed are preferably set in an allowable range M satisfying the relationship between equation:(1)L≤-0.018θ+15.807, equation:(2)L≤-0.1438θ+21.597, equation:(3)L≥-0.0885θ+16.106, equation:(4)θ≥20, and equation:(5)θ≤60.
