PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost, by facilitating manufacture, without requiring to separately process an oil return hole, and without requiring to block up a baseboard hole 36. SOLUTION: The rear end 12A of an intake camshaft 12 is projected in an auxiliary chamber 32 by penetrating through a head outer wall 17 of a cylinder head 10. The head outer wall 17 is formed with a bearing part 38 for rotatably supporting the camshaft 12 and a through-hole penetrating through the head outer wall 17. This through-hole is the baseboard hole 36 formed of a baseboard of a core used in manufacture. This baseboard hole 36 is arranged in the vicinity of the bearing part 38, and is used as the oil return hole for returning lubricating oil to the inside of the cylinder head 10 from the auxiliary chamber 32.
