PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition usable for a member of electronic equipment requiring transparency and flame retardancy while employing polylactic acid as the raw material which is adaptable for the carbon neutral because of not using fossil resources but using a plant as a raw material, and provide a transparent member for electronic equipment comprising the resin composition. SOLUTION: This transparent member for electronic equipment comprises polylactic acid, polymethyl (meth)acrylate and a flame retardant, which has Izod impact resistance of 2.7-5 kJ/m<SP>2</SP>and light transmittance in wavelength range of 400-760 nm of≥40%.
