PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner, improved in convenience in using a brush attachment. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner includes a brush attachment 5, wherein the tip part 5b of a cylindrical body connected to an intake passage to a vacuum cleaner body and having a suction port 5e is provided with a brush bed 5g fitted to be turnable so that one end 5d is located on the suction port 5e side and the other end 5f is located on the suction port 5e side, and brushes 5h, 5i of different types are fitted to both ends 5d, 5f of the brush bed 5g.
