The brake has a piston operated under pressure. The brake has an element (4) which is movable in the direction of actuation of the brake and the release of the brake. A body spacing (6) is provided which is adjustable and which maintains an adjustable spacing of the piston (3) and the element. A block (21) removably acts on the element, blocking the piston when body spacing is in an actuated position.
