A method for manufacturing a rod cover of a tube connector is provided to reduce cost of the rod cover included in the tube connector by enabling mass production of the rod cover. A method for manufacturing a rod cover of a tube connector, comprises a first step(10) of producing a rod cover body from a synthetic resin material through extrusion in a manner that one side of the rod cover body has a rod accommodation space and the other side of the rod cover body has a fixing member; a second step(20) of producing a plurality of rod cover pieces by cutting the rod cover body into a length identical with the width of a connection plate; a third step(30) of perforating a plurality of upper through holes for penetration of a bolt onto an upper plate of the rod accommodation space of the rod cover pieces; and a fourth step(40) of perforating a plurality of side through holes for penetration of a screw shaft of the bolt onto a plate of the rod accommodation space of the rod cover pieces so that the side through holes correspond to the upper through holes.
