A speed control apparatus of a vector controlled alternating current motor in which noise and vibration of an alternating current motor can be reduced by restraining and applying measured current error generated from a current sensor, peripheral circuits, and so on when detecting current of the alternating current motor. Since spectral analysis, as employed in the conventional art, is not necessary in the present invention, the speed control apparatus of a vector controlled AC motor can be implemented without an expensive processor and is economically advantageous.
