A mesh node association method in a mesh network, and the mesh network supporting the same are provided to enable a mobile mesh node to quickly re-associate with at least one adjacent mesh node by information about the adjacent mesh node and context information, thereby quickly restarting communication by simplifying a re-association procedure required when an MP(Mesh Point) moves and providing stable service quality and a high-speed roaming service within the mesh network. A mesh node association method in a mesh network comprises the following steps of: associating a new mesh node to an arbitrary mesh node of plural mesh nodes(210~250); and transmitting context information, generated by the association between the new mesh node and the arbitrary mesh node, to at least one adjacent mesh node(260). The new mesh node is a mobile terminal. The at least one adjacent mesh node is a mesh node to which the new mesh node can directly move from the arbitrary mesh node without passing through the other mesh node.
