An image recording device is provided to confirm the contents of the same images recorded on a plurality of recording media before executing an imaging process, thereby preventing an error of the image process. A recording processor records the same common still image on a plurality of recording media(15,16) respectively. The recorded images have the same frame number or the same frame name. A monitor(17) displays the common still images on a screen thereof. An image indicating processor(12) reads the images from the plurality of recording media and simultaneously displays the images on the screen. An image-selecting processor(18) selects a candidate image to be image-processed from the displayed images.
