A remote control system is provided to easily make a position of a window part of an address setter coincide with a position of a window part of an operation terminal by installing a position aligning unit in at least one part of the address setter and the operation terminal. An address setter(2) comprises the followings: an operation unit in which inputs an address by a hand operation; a control unit which generates an address signal for making an address of a switch set in an operation terminal on the basis of input of the operation unit; an optical transmission unit which transmits the address signal to the operation terminal as an optical signal by being controlled by the control unit; and a housing which receives the control unit, the operation unit, and the optical transmission unit. In the housing, a window part passes the optical signal, transmitted from the optical transmission unit, outside the housing. A position aligning unit aligns the position of the window part of the housing with respect to the window part of a terminal(82), which passes the optical signal from the outside of the operation terminal through a light receiving part of the terminal, which receives the optical signal by being installed in the operation terminal. The position aligning unit is installed at least one part of the address setter(2) and the operation terminal. |
