A compressor cooling device of a window type air conditioner is provided to maintain performance of a compressor by cooling the compressor through a heat pipe. A compressor cooling device of a window type air conditioner comprises a heat pipe(66) absorbing heat generated at a compressor through an evaporating unit to evaporate an inner operating fluid, to condense heat from the evaporating unit at a condensing unit, and to discharge the heat to the outside; and a combining unit(65) combining the evaporating unit of the heat pipe with the compressor. The combining unit has unevenness formed on one side of a lower end(45) of the compressor to insert and support the evaporating unit of the heat pipe.
