A data sharing method using a mobile communication terminal is provided to enable a user to download various multimedia contents to the mobile communication terminal by providing a P2P(Peer to Peer) service using the mobile communication terminal, so that a data sharing service provider can remove the necessity for installing a data storing server because the multimedia contents are stored in each mobile communication terminal. A data sharing method using a mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps of: enabling a providing party's mobile communication terminal(10), storing predetermined data, to upload index information, related with the data, and/or identification information, related with the providing party's mobile communication terminal(10), to an index server(15)(S12,S13); enabling a receiving party's mobile communication terminal(20), which wants to download desired data, to connect to the index server(15)(S14); searching the index information stored in the index server(15)(S15); selecting at least one index information of searched index information; enabling the index server(15) to transmit the identification information, related with the selected index information, to the receiving party's mobile communication terminal(20)(S17); and enabling the receiving party's mobile communication terminal(20) to connect to the providing party's mobile communication terminal(10) by using the identification information and download the data(S18,S19).
