A thin-film type direct-adhering PDP filter and a picture display apparatus using the same are provided to obtain an anti-reflecting effect and an electromagnetic wave shielding effect by forming an optical function layer and a near-infrared shielding layer on upper and lower surfaces of one electromagnetic wave shielding filter. An optical function layer(300) is formed on an upper surface of an electromagnetic wave shielding filter(200). A near-infrared shielding layer(500) is formed on a lower surface of the electromagnetic wave shielding filter. A near-infrared shielding composition of the near-infrared shielding layer includes an ultraviolet curing resin, a near-infrared shielding dye, an ultraviolet absorbent, a hardener, and a leveling agent. The near-infrared shielding composition is formed with the near-infrared shielding dye of 0.1-15 weight percent, the ultraviolet absorbent of 0.1-15 weight percent, the hardener of 0.1-15 weight percent, and the leveling agent of 0.1-3 weight percent.
